The real definition of Black Girl Magic
Simone
It is really black girl magic. I love the creativity and the design of the comic book. I am a sailor moon fan and it is giving me Sailor vibes!

I guess I kinda understand how Adaeze feels, but if there's something I know, its that crying doesn't make one weak. Being able to express emotions, she's just not over the trauma and I still love her, she has potential and I'm certain when she unleashes her "CHI". SHE'S gonna be so badass and that " cry-deze" will be gone. This issue was really amazing and soft and magical

The Black Sailor Moon, I always knew I needed, but never had!! I wish I could have grown up with this creativity and showcasing of this black girl and guy magic! Especially in book/manga/comic form! I’m living for this character development and the struggles these people are going and growing through emotionally, physically etc. WE get to be the center of the story and not just the best friend or hype woman/man/person to another character. I LOVE this so much!!! Thank you very much for creating this.

A fun, amazing read that made me crave more!

I am seriously about to cry right now. When I heard about this, about having a magical girl comic series showcasing powerful heroines that also uses Igbo mythlogy and is set in Nigeria, I couldn't believe it. It is so cool to see a character with a name like mine. When I was younger, I used to be bullied because of my name, and I started to become ashamed of it. I have since learned to shed that mindset, but if only I had this when I was little!
Thank you so much for this. The story, the artwork, everything is amazing and I can't wait to read the next one!

I like the second and third comic and I can't for the 4th one.
This really help bring back my confidence.

The art-work is fantastic and the burgeoning story-line is keeping me invested. I love the characters, and the mix between traditional manga style and Nigerian culture. Of course I'm always here to support black-anything, but I really enjoyed reading this and was fully invested the entire time. Worth it!

So far this is just an intro to the story, but the artwork is stunning and I can't wait to find out what happens next. And to be perfectly honest, I love seeing manga characters with hair like mine!

Cute opener. I loved the different prints that people were wearing and all the different hairstyles the women had. I appreciated that the afros were given texture. So far, I like Adazae and Chi is super cute. The comic just tells you about Adazae's personality and backstory, and those are things I think readers could have picked up on as the comic progressed. This issue was exposition heavy, but it was the first. I'm planning to read the next issue.

I easily blew through the first issue that's how excited and in love with it I was. I've even been telling people about it that I knew that were black as well. The art is so cute and magnificent and I'm in love with the theme song for the series as well.
Extremely well job done.

I loved learning about Adaeze and her friends! She's a relatable and lovely heroine with a big heart, I'm excited to see her bloom in future issues!

I'm so happy it's finally out. I am really looking forward to it being released in print. (please, please, please) The artwork is gorgeous! The story line is only just beginning so I can't say much for that yet but I like what I've seen so far. I hope maybe one day the shorter issues will be released in volumes like manga.
